Event Staff, USG Audio Visual; Stony Brook, NY — Winter 2012 to present
Move, set up, operate, and break down stage, sound, and lighting equipment for club and organization events on the Stony Brook University Campus.

Lighting Technician, Stony Brooklyn; Stony Brook, NY — Fall 2012 to present
Design, install, and operate lighting for all of our events. In addition, it is my responsibility to maintain the space and equipment including making any necessary repairs. Some artists I have worked with through this program include Tiny Victories, Maps and Atlases, Crystal Stilts, Laura Stevenson, Lost in the Trees, and Milagres.



Volunteer, Firefly Music Festival; Dover, DE — July 20 - 22 , 2012

Worked the hired “Charging and Cooling” station. My duties included preventing theft and informing the patrons to keep their drinks off the table.

Volunteer, Stony Brook Concerts; Stony Brook, NY — Spring 2011 to present
Move, set up, and break down stage, sound, and lighting equipment for larger events on the Stony Brook University Campus. During these events I have also worked as a runner and in hospitality. Some artists I have worked with through this program include Reel Big Fish, Bruno Mars, Wiz Khalifa, Miguel, Chiddy Bang, and Kevin Hart.



Pre-Production/ Lighting Technician, RockYoFaceCase; Stony Brook, NY — Spring 2011 to present

Managed RYF’s budget, place and track orders, organize art and marketing initiatives, and make executive decisions about how to invest our funds. Online marketing initiatives include shooting and editing visual media used to promote the program. In addition, I design, install, and operate lighting for all of our events. Some artists I have worked with through this program include Ra Ra Riot, Gabe Kubanda, Black Taxi, Wyldlife, and the Night Kids.



DJ, WUSB; Stony Brook, NY — Spring 2012 to present

Co-host a 10pm to midnight slot every other wednesday at 90.1 WUSB.FM. In addition, I act as a stage hand for the station’s classroom concerts and special broadcasts under the name “WUSB Lecture Series”.
Some artists I have worked with through this program include Harvey Eyeballs, Milk Dick, Xray Eyeballs, Juan Wauters, and Parquet Courts.

Director, Pocket Theatre; Stony Brook, NY — 2011-2012
Directed three shows under Pocket Theatre over the past two years. Under this elected position it was my duty to organize spaces, manage designers and actors, market, and design a production.

SKILLS
- Throughout my efforts I have developed extensive leadership, management and people skills. While working in a community children’s theatre and at Chuck E Cheese, I have learned to deal with people at their most basic levels aiding myself to become more patient and professional. 

- Familiar with both DMX and MPX run lighting systems. Proficient at cabling, microphone and speaker set up. Sound board literate.

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and the Final Cut Pro Suite. Proficient with Logic and Reason.
